While I do my best to accurately photograph my products, differences in monitors and lighting can change the appearance. Also, some products may contain vegetable matter from processing. I try to label fiber content as well, but please be aware that I have dogs and that I have many different fibers in my studios. I do store fiber in sealed bags, but it is possible you may find an alpaca fiber in your merino or vice versa.
